The client acquired 2 hi-tech plants specializing in quartz in Japan in late 2022 to expand their business. Upgrading S/4HANA before the acquired entities are implemented into the system was crucial to minimize additional test cycles and change management efforts for the new entity transitioning from SAP ECC & legacy ERP into S/4HANA 2022.
