We have been selected by the world’s largest, Local Deals Website to build and deploy location based mobile platform for them. We are also working with the client on deploying the latest iBeacon Technology by Apple in the application. This represents a significant milestone for the company and reinforces our leadership in the field of Location Based Services taking Kellton Tech’s portfolio way ahead of the pack. Bluetooth Beacon will also be implemented in their Android application.

iBeacon is Apple's brand of technology for data transfer between devices using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE or Bluetooth Smart). iBeacon technology gives us a new platform to produce, design and innovate and takes us a step closer to next generation retailing.

Essentially, what iBeacon does is that it lets smartphone users know about the presence of businesses or retail shops in their vicinity by sending push notifications through Bluetooth. With the right marketing strategy and software, this can be used for promotion in a big way.
